Booster Campaign Starts Off Strong as U.S. Heads Into the Holidays

As many as 3 million in the U.S. got COVID-19 vaccine booster shots in the last three days, the White House said Monday. Booster shots were authorized for all adults Friday, and by Sunday, 1 million people had received additional doses each day, the coordinator of the White House coronavirus response, Jeff Zients, said at briefing Monday. At least 36 million people have gotten boosters since the shots were first authorized in September. That is a really big number!
