As coronavirus infections surged across the United States, New York City's Times Square rang in the year 2021 with a virtual ball-dropping extravaganza. Thanks to COVID-19 vaccinations, the party is back on. Mayor Bill de Blasio of New York City stated on Tuesday that Times Square will be available for New Year's Eve celebrations, but only to fully vaccinated revelers. Awesome!
